Our site for AD4 is located in USJ 7, Our main objective is to create a Urban Farming communiti to support the mothers allowing them to earn a few side income. USJ 7 is a sub urban area filled with both residential and commercial buildings.
Project 1A
Project 1A include us to design a Master Plan based on the provided site located in USJ 7. We are to design a landscaping incoporating Urban Farming dedicated for mothers in the area to earn side income.
"POCKET OF UNITY"
Pocket of Unity is design with the intention to bring the community together through mothers hard work as well as making the site more vibrant bringing in colour of various herbs that can be found in Malaysia. The name "pocket' is use to emphasis on each green section inside the masterplan divided by the circulation has it's own tiny intention. Intention including enhancing sensorial experience, urban farming, green house, flea market etc.
Each spaces are design according to the community needs and wants, climatic response as well as the circulation behaviour of the users.
